Employer Seminars
These presentations highlight an industry that is 'hot'. For example, before the snow flies employers and workers from Silver Star Mountain
present to would-be ski hill employees. Throughout the year we cover many aspects of the current labour market such as construction,
retail, social service, tourism and more. These jam-packed information sessions inform youth where these jobs are, what they can expect,
and how to get an edge when applying. It’s also an excellent opportunity to network with employers. Come down or call to get signed up.
Workshop Referrals
Connections staff can refer youth to other workshops and employment programs offered in the community. Please call or come into
the centre for dates, times and to book your spot.
