Self-directed Services
Self-directed services are available to those who want to conduct an independent job search. For employment or educational purposes, use our:

• computers
• fax machine
• photocopier
• telephone
• messaging services

Job Search Advisors will help you to access current labour market information, build resumes and search for work. You can also attend our workshops to enhance your employability skills.

Assisted Services
Assisted services consist of working one-to-one with an Employment Counsellor to help you achieve your employment or education goals. The Employment Counsellor will provide comprehensive case management services which includes a careful assessment of your needs and development of an individualized plan to support you in your job search. Your Employment Counsellor can work directly with you to determine your career goals and assist you in addressing any employment challenges. In addition they are able to refer you to any necessary community service providers, program or resources.

Up-to-date Job Board
We search the internet and newspapers daily for the latest job postings, and also receive job orders directly from employers. We feature seasonal employers and provide you with hiring managers’ names and specific job tips.

Computer Workstations
Our 10 computers are free to use on a drop-in basis for anything related to education or employment. All computers have Win-way Résumé Builder, word processing and Internet software. Three of our computers are funded by the Industry Canada Community Access Program (CAP) to help more Canadians connect to the internet.

Career and Employment Library
Our library is divided into sections for Trades, Labour Market Information, Education and Scholarships, Self-employment and directories. We also have all the up to date information on Feature Industries such as ski resorts, guest ranches, military and police forces, oil and gas, golf, retail, health care and more.
